LEARNigeria aims to extend its reach to all states in Nigeria.
During the pilot in 2015, LEARNigeria assessed children aged 5-15 years, in Ungogo and Ikorodu Local Governments, in Kano and Lagos State respectively.
In 2017, we then proceeded to assess over 41,000 children from 21,600 households in Akwa Ibom, Ebonyi, Kano, Lagos, Plateau and Taraba states. In each of these states, capacity building sessions were held with our volunteers. We held 18 capacity building sessions across these six states to ensure our volunteers were up to date on assessment best practices.
